We are proud to announce that out of the nearly 1000 visits to the CYFEST 14 in Yerevan, more than 150 people participated in our mediation program, next to 60 international artists presented their artistic contributions within the 16 days of the festival.
CYFEST 14 wanted to approach the complex identity of the city of Yerevan in an innovative way and reach out to audiences beyond the inner circle of contemporary art by a series of non-didactic open mediations and an experimental sound and performance program.
Showcasing artworks in collaboration with mediators, performers, sound designers and creative engineers taught us again how meaningful art can be to communicate complex stories while bringing forth deeper connection and understanding to our environments.
What’s left of the festival after closing? Our website cyberfest.ru/cyfest-14-yerevan with installation views of all artworks in the exhibition (coming soon). More than 50 publications in the local press and social media. Numerous proposals for cooperation from Yerevan-based organizations and cultural professionals. Last, but not least, the festival’s catalogue that will be published in English and Armenian in the coming months.
We would wholeheartedly like to express our gratitude to the artists, partners and everyone else involved in making this festival happen.
